Prof. Dr. iur. Indra Spiecker gen. Döhmann, LL. M. (Georgetown Univ.) is Professor of Public Law, Information Law, Environmental Law and Administrative Sciences at the Goethe University Frankfurt a.M., where she heads the Data Protection Research Unit in succession to Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Spiros Simitis. In addition, since leaving the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2013, she has continued to collaborate closely with the Centre for Applied Law (ZAR) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, among others as Principal Investigator of KASTEL.

Prof. Spiecker conducts research and publishes in the entire field of constitutional and administrative law, including interdisciplinary findings from economics, behavioral sciences and engineering; her main areas of expertise are data protection-, information- and IT -law, supplemented by health- and environmental-law.
